Family
Service and Children’s Aid has experienced counselors available to help
individuals and families who are struggling with substance abuse, by
providing skills and support in the journey to recovery through a number of
programs and services. Substance abuse counseling may involve individual
substance abuse counseling and group counseling. If we can help you or a

Born Free
FSCA
has a specialized women’s substance abuse recovery program called Born
Free that helps women move out of the cycle of addiction. Born
Free provides mothers with onsite childcare during recovery group
time, parent education classes, and linkage to resources in our community
that will improve their quality of life and that of their children. The
Health Professional Recovery Corporation and FSCA have a service agreement.
Born Free participates in Jackson County’s Recovery Court, and also
hosts a closed weekly 12 step meeting for current clients and graduates.
Individual and group substance abuse counseling, and the Driver’s License
Recovery program are available at the Adrian location. In addition, the
agency employs a certified D.O.T. assessor. |
